The library building houses all the lecturers’ offices as well as a large lecture hall, all on the ground floor. The upper floor provides reading areas, thesis writing cubicles, a reference section, and stack areas. There are 20,000 books apart from journals, audio and videos cassettes, DVDs and audio tapes for individual and class use.
Africa Christian Textbooks (ACTS) operates a bookshop on campus. This makes it easier for students and staff to buy up-to-date books.
The seminary provides access to the Internet via satellite. Fifteen computers are available for students and staff to use for research, web browsing, etc., and there is a wireless link operating on the main Seminary campus for those who wish to access it from other areas such as the library reading areas.
Boreholes and Generator
There are two boreholes that supply water to the entire school. Water is pumped in by electricity from 40 meters under ground into overhead tanks, each holding 10,000 liters of water. Water is not a problem in the seminary. In terms of our electricity supply, the seminary has a 50 KVA generator that supplies power to the academic area in the evening and a 10kVA generator to supply the main academic area during office hours. Thus, some of the lectures are held in the evenings using this source of light.
There is a clinic on our campus and an ECWA Dispensary not far from the seminary. The Government General Hospital at Kafanchan is only twelve kilometers from the seminary. ECWA runs the Bingham University Teaching Hospital in Jos which is only an hour and a half away by road.
